Welcome.

This is where my
worlds come together.

  • I write stories.
  • I build software.
  • I explore longevity.
  • I document a lifelong spiritual journey.

Everything I create begins somewhere on this page.

Same person,
four problems.

Most people need a résumé, a portfolio and three social profiles to explain what they do. I'd rather have one page.

I started out in software and spent 25 years learning how things actually get built and shipped — the unglamorous middle. Somewhere in there the fiction started, and became The Orange Diary: Andrew Anderson's case files, and everything around them.

I initiated Success Multipliers to build pioneering enterprise solutions for growth and optimization, and I'm sharing my keystone of living to 160 years with LiveTo160 — my thoughts on meaningfully increasing healthspan.

And when none of that is loud enough, I write. Fiction first, and now a set of non-fiction notes on the one subject I can't outsource to anyone — the self.

What I'm building right now.

Four things at once, one operating philosophy: build the thing you'd want to exist, then stay long enough to make it good.

Notes I couldn't not write.

A fiction habit that turned into something else. Two non-fiction projects currently in draft, both circling the same question.

Who Am I

Transcendental notes on self

Take a sheet of white paper and hold it horizontally. Bring a burning match to the centre and watch a hole appear — see how the fire engulfs the paper as the hole keeps getting bigger.

That's how I felt one night in Doon. A hole burning deep inside me to write it.

Self-evaluation, self-discovery, then self-realisation — a journey everyone takes, some deliberately and some by accident. These are my notes from the road, written without the fig leaf.

Measuring Success in Yoga

I'm not a teacher, I'm a practitioner — that's the whole résumé. So how do you measure success in a practice built to quiet the part of you that keeps score? A rough frame, offered as one man thinking out loud.

40% of your years — sit ten minutes, no fidgeting. 80% — turn and face yourself, then catch that self in everyone else. The real test is whether it survives a loud, ordinary, interrupted day.

The Andrew Anderson books

Book One and Book Two — the cases, the cities that shaped them, and the people who survived them. The whole world of it, including the parts that never made the page, lives at The Orange Diary.
